Lake Latonka, Indiana
Lake Latonka Indiana is a residential & lake community located in north central Indiana. According to county records, the lake is 113 acres in size. Residents enjoy boating, fishing, a walking path around the lake and residential life in a quiet setting.
The lake is controlled by a board of directors, bylaws and association rules. Lake Latonka is a private community. Boating and fishing is for residents and guest only.
Lake Latonka History
Lake Latonka was man made in the early 1970's. It is the only man-made lake in Marshall County. Originally known as the Ottawa Hills Subdivision, it was developed by Mr. Westberg and Mr. Boucher. The first lots were sold in 1967. Lake Latonka is considered to be part of the Chain or Lakes.
The Lake Latonka property owners association was incorporated on April, 29th, 1974 in the state of Indiana.
Today residents enjoy lake living in a quiet midwest atmosphere.
